The Pulse Stream machine is buoyant, which allows it to be fully assembled and commissioned onshore before floating out for installation. It can then be installed, and recovered for maintenance, with very simple vessels.

Our approach avoids the need for heavy lift vessels, and also means that we do not need to moor a special vessel over our machines to recover them - this would be a complex operation when there are multiple devices operating in an array.
